David Kroll
David first started making a name for himself in Southeast Iowa at the age of 16 when he started performing in local bands like “The Walker Brothers” and “David Kroll & Heartland”. A songwriting publishing deal lead to his move to Nashville, TN in 2007. In the 10 years Kroll spent in Nashville, he wrote songs professionally and toured the country with his band. He landed a brief spot on Season 2 of Simon Cowell’s show “The X–Factor” and later released his song “Little Soldiers” nationwide. In the Summer of 2017, he was part of a Vegas production in Branson, MO with an all-star cast including Grammy award winning, Billy Yates, called “Raiding The Country Vault”. His loyal following in Southeast Iowa brought him back to his hometown of Burlington, Iowa several times throughout the years. Seeing the downtown area being brought back to life inspired him to make the move back home. With all the exciting things going on in downtown Burlington, David is very honored to be working in the middle of it all not only as the assistant director for Burlington Riverfront Entertainment also as the host of the morning show on Big Country 103.1, the very first radio station to ever play one of his songs on the air!
